PS There is a lot of information missing in the Anime, not really the studios fault. The Light novel it's based on is very long, each book is about as thick as a harry potter book.

If you want to see Tanya interact with her first lieutenants you should look up Youjo Shenki, it's a comedy spin-off, but true to their characters. Also low frame rates are intentional, there is a limit to how many frames can be used on tv. I have the Blu-Ray and it isn't as choppy.

2018-04-06 06:41:42 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if I agree with Caleb about Tanya's passivity taking away the tension. I thought it made a good contrast to the fervor that Anson (the dude she just stabbed) had. What Tanya passively disposed of were human beings with families, Tanya operated by cold logic, and after the newbies and the guns were killed, Anson operated on heated hate. I think it's this contrast provided tension and characterization.
