I just love the episodes that feature Bokuto and Akaashi and Kuroo and Kenma, they're always amazing! This might not be important to you, but it is to me :p Bokuto is actually a 3rd year, same age as Kuroo. And Akaashi is a 2nd year, same as Kenma :) So Bokuto is Akaashi's senpai, which just makes their relationship even better xD

All I’ve gotta say if you think the character development is good now... man. I’m a manga reader and the story just gets better and better. I was never into sports anime but I got into it when Haikyu first aired. Fell in love with it, didn’t read it. Season 2 ended and I had to read to figure out what happened and omg. It’s a beautiful story.

Loved where that Tanaka shirt-removal discussion went to. He's more "Waahhh and Hinata is more Squaaa" 100% accurate. XD See how much hype and excitement this show brings out. I'm glad Caleb uses 'ugh' when something is dang good! Lol. I'm the same way. At this point I'm realizing I need to stop saying 'this episode is one of my favorites' because it seems like I say that a lot! And you are correct in Tsukishima is cheering in Tsukki fashion but still cheering now. Kseniya Sevostianova points out a moment in the op that is the first sign of what we'd be getting in this arc. :) Great reactions with wonderful enthusiasm from y'all as ever every episode of Haikyuu!

I can't wait for you guys to see the BBQ part - that's probably my third favorite scene from this season. It's glorious!

This episode really is just such a joy to watch :) The OST is top notch too, especially the one which plays when Hinata and Kageyama succeed for the first time (called Restart). The multiverse you mentioned was funny to listen about cause you’re right - there’s so many things in the fandom, but canon is actually quite generous in his regard too. The chibi comedy you mentioned - official spin-off called Let’s Haikyuu. The romcom? That would be the stage play :”D (I’m exaggerating it here but also not quite). And about Tsukki’s cheering - you’re right about him not usually doing that. I suggest that you look at one frame of the opening; if I remember correctly, it’s after they show us a successful sync to attack from Karasuno. There’s a prime example of Tsukishima’s cheer right there x) People caught on to that “character development” immediately when the season started airing lmao. Thanks for the great discussion! The prospect of your reactions to BBQ’s gonna keep me going through my last finals.
