in my opinion its not necessary for him to kill himself before the ants got to him because their thirst for power and knowledge was inevitably going to lead them to other hunters anyway. also there have been debates and stuff about nefropitous (?) gender lol but u guys are right, there are so many gender ambiguous/neutral characters in hxh. so "it" is probably the safest to go. btw that scene with the torturing was VERY weird to me when I first watched hxh: "is this really a kids show?" lol how naïve I was.

I feel like Caleb is talking way too much during the episode and missing a lot of things. Don't get me wrong; reactions are for reacting to the episode but if you're going to spend half an hour after the episode to discuss theories, why talk so much during the episode too. Sometimes it's just better to enjoy what's happening right in front of you

I think being extra episodes ahead is in relation to general (for everybody) release not the early one. They might have watched them though but we won't find out until the next vid, I suppose.

As far as i know, Neferpitou in the manga had literally NO gender, but in the anime "it" is an actual woman.

A note on Neferpitou's gender: the anime and manga refer to Pitou as female. There was apparently a footnote in an artbook released at one point that states the king's royal guard are all male. I think, as with most of Togashi's character designs, it doesn't really matter.
