Combat away Caleb! I want your honest reactions and so whatever you feel or think definitely express it. This was a great discussion! I agree about the parents thing, I also wondered if in an abusive parental relationship, it's easier to defend because you (the child) doesn't want to believe that their parent is a monster, or want to believe the parent is doing this horrible thing to make them better or out of love. It sounds crazy but I can imagine its easier to make an excuse than to face the truth. And ToraDora is a beautiful show! I can understand though, its indeed an emotional rollercoaster. I think I've watched it start to finish at least five times over the years.
