I am so glad I became a patron. I love love LOVE the critical eye that y'all watch this show with. I love your reactions but the discussions are my favorite part. The predictions, hopes, fears and ideas that come from your talks after the episodes blow me away sometimes. Y’all point out things I never would have noticed. Sometimes you make connections between characters/moments/dialogue etc. that are colossally refreshing and often get me excited for the future of this show. I love the way you talk about characters in particular. I always appreciate how you discuss characters from their own first person perspective, their peer’s perspectives in the story and from our (the viewer’s) perspective. You even sometimes talk about characters who are also narrative devices and thematic elements in their own way. It makes the storyteller part of my mind feel very fulfilled. You said in the discussion for this episode “I fear that MHA has peaked.” That is a consistent fear of mine as well. As a manga reader, I can definitively say that the future holds arcs that are tantamount and/or superior to Season 3’s first arc. I have confidence that Seasons 5 & 6 will be very fun for you guys.
