Love what Jacob said about Megu Chan possibly being inspired by Kumari to do her own thing in the future :))

2018-06-22 02:34:07 +0000 UTCI'm very happy you responded to this episode so well, and that Caleb was able to find the courage and confidence to open up to people about what he does. I've seen a number of people hating Megumi for what she did in this episode. While I understand that and think it's reasonable not to want to forgive her for it, I think it's so much better to show understanding and empathy, especially since she's still just a confused kid. So I'm happy you two were displaying that. Really looking forward to continuing this journey with you two!

2018-06-21 23:17:55 +0000 UTCOoh, never heard of "tall poppy syndrome" before. But what you're describing, Jacob, is what we (in my area) call crab mentality. Crabs in a bucket will pull other crabs down with them that are trying to get out. I love what they did with Megu-chan here. It's so realistic yet so relatable. I've definitely had my moments where I felt that I was being left behind, especially when my closest friends moved away and started new lives elsewhere. I didn't do anything as passive-aggressive as Megu-chan, but I can definitely understand the "jealousy."
