I perfectly agree with Jacob. Since this is the second tournament we've seen, they added some twists to the game so keep us from getting bored. Haikyuu is really good at keeping the audience hyped and sometimes a bit worried lol.

So to talk about their notice of the Eagle/Bird of Prey in the OP behind Shiratorizawa, the 'Shiratori' means 'swan' but it's written with the kanji that literally translate to 'white bird' so they symbolized it with a white eagle (since you know, powerhouse school), which is in contrast to Karasuno being symbolized by crows since 'crow' (Karasu) is in their name

I really want seijoh to play shiratorizawa too... but they are in 2 different groups, remember? shiratori is in group A while karasu and seijoh are in group B ,so ...

Man, I literally had to stand by the door in the dark and fight off mosquitos to watch this reaction, but one minute in I already realized that it was worth it :”D Really cool to see you guys “speaking The Language” lol, or well, rather Caleb speaking the language and Jacob patiently listening. Such a joyous and fun episode, I’ll probably forget to mention some stuff. The foreshadowing of Kageyama’s block was really on spot, and you probably remember that the new glasses were also mentioned by Akiteru right in the previous episode. Tanaka’s and Nishinoya’s ploy was outstanding honestly. There isn’t quite an omake which you described lol, but there is a CD drama where they theorize on why Nishinoya isn’t popular with girls, which is just as hilarious xD Tsukki’s and Hinata’s small exchanges are adorable, it’s so nice to see them becoming more teammates like. I also really loved that particular screen where Daichi stands in front of the “Simplicity and fortitude” banner, just such a nice parallel. Jouzenji’s manager’s name is Hana Misaki, you should probably keep that in mind :) Haikyuu girls are much like Haikyuu itself - they get better and better with each episode. Some nice theories there today too. Can’t wait for you to see how things go! Thanks for a nice discussion!
