Not an ‘official’ word, but it works well :). sonder n. the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own—populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness—an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.

The word you're looking for when you were talking about Kimari and yourself realising how big the world is, and the countless other people in it is 'Sonder'.

Fun Fact: When this episode aired, the architecture and locations were so accurate, people from Singapore were CONVINCED that the show partnered up with their tourism board for episode 6. (They weren't)

Every time I go somewhere with my family (like anime conventions where we stay at a hotel for a few days) it's chaotic. Typically everyone is groggy and grumpy because excitement and procrastination kept everyone up all night before, we're still trying to gather everything and someone hasn't put their costume together. And we get there to the hotel, dress in our cosplay and someone has forgotten something, we turn our bags inside out and there's nothing. There's a bit of arguing and eye-rolling but then we take a deep breath and just go -It's fun we have a blast and when we get back we can't wait for the next one XD I think this episode is fantastic and I mean, it feels very relatable and the Hinata and Shirase conflict and resolution was touching and I loved it. Of course the hilarious scream was the icing on the cake XD

On a side note, this episode very accurately portrayed Singapore's architecture, be it landmarks, skyline or minute details like escalator exits, bench designs etc.
