(like Pike's webs) That would be a little overpowered, at least without some sort of extra limitation. She can't have Blinky suck up Pike 'cause he's alive and his webs are nen powered (or at least nen-infused). Or do they think normal spiders can shoot Spider-Man-like web traps naturally? They lean a little heavy on everything needing to have meaning, such as "whenever Shizuku does something silly, it must be due to her (completely theoretical) nen limitation of amnesia."

2018-07-10 19:18:36 +0000 UTCYou know what? I think you're relying a bit too much on "something/someone being relevant" or "having a role to play in overall conflict". I mean, it would've been very appropriate in most of the shows, but it's kinda different in HxH. In a way, you're trying to (KINDA, only what i feel) imprison the characters by plot. Togashi though... no, he doesn't like to do this. His characters do what THEY want to do and WHEN they want to do this. It's not like every fight has to have a purpose. For example, Phantom Troupe went to Meteor City and eliminated the ants, because they wanted their home to be safe. It does not have to hold any more meaning at all and definitely not for the plot as a whole. I'm getting kinda lost in thought here, so let me quickly conclude, before boredom kills you. I think you shouldn't just try to find a way for characters and events to fit the story. Look for a way for character to be himself/herself without caring about "the purpose" :P I'm just a minion here, of course, but that's also the way i'm trying to write my characters in whatever i write. The sense of freedom is imporatant in my opinion ^^

2018-07-10 18:59:59 +0000 UTCgoing back to game design, i feel it's natural that diminishing return of a Technic could happen. a person spending so many years in 1 category, the rate of practical improvement could prob slow down, and by that point, you just have to investing in others a little, it will be practically better. like the idea of damage, attack speed, crits. we all naturally know we want some kind of balance

While Chimera Ants are able to reproduce with other species, it's never been confirmed to what extent. Her ability is way out there even when it comes to the Ants.

She did mention about her mother the queen ants archaic reproduction method, and she piercing those humans with her stinger turned them into chimera, meaning that this is a biological phenomenon possible exclusive to zazan
