2018-08-06 04:44:40 +0000 UTCI'm sad I forgot that you don't get the sexual background of Guts in the anime that allowed for some great moments of them caring for each other while still being intimate. It is one of my favorite moments that shows how much Casca cares for Guts the human and not just Gut the soldier.

This and some other things were erased from the anime but are present in the trilogy of movies. I was wondering if you were going to watch them! If not... the spoiler will be: the King actually desired his daughter (sexually) and was never going to allow her to marry other man.
