And I won’t go and say it’s some Shakespearean literature, but KLK is far above those kinds of shows it’s often grouped up with. Much like Gurren Lagann it wears the fan service like a badge.

2018-09-28 07:13:50 +0000 UTCIt truly is very fanservicey though, just more blunt and comedic about it (which is the way to do it if you want to do fanservice at all imo, but it still is what it is). That might not be the only element to the show but it is a main one.

2018-09-25 17:29:12 +0000 UTCIt's just that the Underwater subs actually try to translate certain terms whereas the official subs you'd find for this show just transliterate words like "Kamui" and "Goku" without communicating to the viewer what those Japanese words might actually mean in terms of the kanji used and such.
