Caleb seems to have missed that when Kaori first heard Kosei, she was a pianist...she quit piano for the violin specifically so they could play together.

2018-10-10 21:42:56 +0000 UTCOmg, such a wonderful journey :D Thank you SO MUCH, you guys, you made my Wednesday nights (and occasionally Thursday mornings) something I looked forward to week after week while rewatching this beautiful show. For some reason I didn’t cry as much as I was expecting during the finale; I was smiling so much during Kaori’s letter, reading the words of a brave, brave girl to a boy learning to live and love again. Loved when Kousei smiled at the end, loved everything about Kaori’s backstory, loved the photo she enclosed in her letter, loved that Watari still hasn’t forgotten Kaori by any stretch of the imagination, loved that despite its profound sadness, this show still managed to be so hopeful and inspiring nevertheless. <3 See y’all next week for some Ping Pong ^^
