Btw, I don't think the yaoi bait is the main problem people feel with bros reacting to kuroko. I believe that starting haikyuu, the guys were worried the sports element would be more about shounen power ups, which is exactly what kuroko does.

I can’t provide hard evidence all I’ll say is that from my time watching it, it felt like the creators of the show knew exactly who their main demographic was and made sure to put subtle hints here and there to pander to yaoi shippers , I’ll agree in haikyu you could argue the same but nowhere near to the same extent , it kept drawing me out of the experience and made me feel uncomfortable , it’s like the show was trying to draw the line between a shounen sports anime and a yaoi show but never outright said it , at the end of the day that’s just what I personally got from the show , obviously not everyone feels the same way but it says something that I never felt that once while watching haikyu whereas in kuroku nearly every episode until I dropped it I got those vibes

I don't see how you can provide hard evidence for yaoi baiting in these types of anime, since imo it works very individually. I think you can't say kuroko and kagami are not shippable, even if you don't personally see it. It's like I for sure won't claim hinata and kageyama are not an existing ship out there even if I don't feel it that way.

Voted for One Outs, but that probably won't ever happen, it's not that popular unfortunately. But I'll finally have a motivation to get into Ippo, I've been putting it off for way too long. Honestly glad Kuroko is not on the poll, I love it but I don't think it's a show for the guys, way too many "special" abilities for a proper sports anime.
