A. It's just like everyone has said, it's simple and keeps the focus on the title and image. Also, the effects while drawing attention to the name, don't do so in a flattering way.

Just gonna be honest here: when trying to spot the differences between them all, I felt like I was taking an eye exam XD Personally I think any of them would be appealing to me, but if the poll results prefer A overwhelmingly, then I guess the audience has spoken. And as an author, catering to your audience is definitely important to note. Can't wait to read it!!

A. It's clean, simple ("simplicity is key," just to quote y'all), and pleasant to look at. It took me so long to see the difference between B, C, and D, so they're all pretty equal to me. I think the highlights are distracting; it draws my eyes too much to the name when I want to be drawn to the title and the image. E is a little more balanced but the effects really aren't necessary imo. A wins by a mile. Less is more in this case.

I like A for its straight forward boldness, but E might grab more attention being a bit 'off' with the highlights. The single highlight of the others draws toward the name too much IMO.

i honestly cant tell the difference at first glance, so its all good.. prefer A tho

I really like the simplicity in the first cover, draws the eye to the character. But if you choose the ones with the lens flares, B & D appeal to me the most, as they mostly provide a nice complimentary backlight to the title and your name. Can't wait to read it!

A) has no distracting lens flare, making my eye search for the visor and in turn the character -- which is RAD. However, because A) is "darker" overall than the others, it might be less eye-catching in the grand scheme, like if it's up on a shelf... From that perspective I prefer C).
