Problem is the changes are absolutely terrible, and since the original manga got worse and worse over time, to the point where the author wanted to change it, it's crazy the author somehow took the best parts out. And based on the fact they made the story worse and worse as it went on, there's almost 0 hope it turns out good. So yeah, obviously the majority (based on votes) would rather they focus on a really good show, since there's a ton of good ones this season, instead of the trashcan this season of TPN is turning out to be. I get it, for you the "source" is the anime. Thing is most manga readers can warn you that it gets progressively less well written over time, and the author took the weirdest choice of taking the best parts out, so how could they make it good when their track record is not good.

And for this reason do you find it unacceptable for people to enjoy the "inferior version"? Is it better for people that do not know the original and maybe, just maybe, have no interest in it, to become as upset at it as you are? I am interested in seeing your reactions, I think manga readers are overextending their upsettness over the adaptation, their feelings shouldn't effect other creators works. If you started the reaction i would prefer if you finished it. I am a bit upset that this is even being considered, but seeing how the votes are stopping the reactions will most likely win out, wich is a big dissapointment. I wonder if this will create a precedent and maybe we will be able to pressure you to stop other reactions as well. lol

Well, I didn't watch beastars so it wouldn't make any difference to me whether the bros continue their reaction or not, but of they have a slightest possibility of reading the manga in the future, they will definitely regret watching the show from ep 5 because it ruins the whole emotional feelings you can get from reading the manga. I really regret watching ep 5 since I wasn't manga reader, and read the manga after stop watching s2.

Reading a lot of these comments I wanted to clarify a couple things, as there is some miscommunication spreading: 1. Jacob and I do not mind whether we watch TPN on our own time or as a reaction, it's the same thing to us. 2. In the same way that every show we put onto a replacement poll is something we want to watch, this poll is "our" choice, and we're happy with whatever the result is. 3. The decision to have this poll wasn't forced on us by other people. We've recorded episode 4 already and were quite a bit disappointed by what happened. Thus if things continued in a downward spiral, we would have done something like this next week or so. 4. We did make a mistake in adding a show to a replacement poll that wasn't finished yet, so we'll be avoiding that much more in the future. I understand we could have handled this better, and thinking back I see a couple ways we could have avoided the problem entirely. Bear with us as we've only had one really similar instance of this in the past (Game of Thrones) and in that instance we just never released the videos. Appreciate the feedback and communication on this!

It’s more so I wish it had been a decision they made rather than left up to a poll that had no real chance. If they weren’t enjoying it anymore, then that’s totally fair. Their enjoyment of a series is what makes watching them so fun! But I haven’t seen them say either way how they personally feel about continuing. Perhaps I missed it somewhere, but that’s all.

Beastars is leagues above this sadly disappointing second season. It's kind of a letdown that they had to waste time by starting and now are probably dropping it, I even voted for TPN s2 reactions before I knew how the show turned out. It's better this way anyway.

I don't like Yakusoku no Neverland Season 2 and dropped it after Episode 4. However, I can't say I agree with this poll. I even voted to continue the anime. Yakusoku no Neverland Season 2 won the continuation poll and should get its fair chance. Dropping a show because "other people dislike it" is a dangerous precedent that should be avoided. This sends the message that a big enough backlash can end a reaction series in the future. Additionally, I think anyone with a brain could have predicted the outcome of this poll. Between the Beastars and Dr. Stone fans and the Yakusoku no Neverland manga readers (and some anime watchers), Yakusoku no Neverland didn't have a snowball's chance in Hell of getting a majority vote. Dropping a show because "I don't like it," on the other hand, is a perfectly legitimate reason that I would have respected. This whole debacle is, frankly, not being handled well.

Not a fan of this poll. I would’ve preferred you guys just made your own decision about this situation. I don’t watch or care for TPN so I don’t have a personal stake in this, but this just feels like wanting to avoid backlash from making a decision by putting it on the patrons. If you think about it, the majority of people are going to vote to end TPN reactions regardless of the quality. Because you’ll have beastars and dr stone fans who may not even watch TPN and will obviously just want to move onto their shows so they vote to end it. Then there’s people who don’t even watch any of these shows but want the poll slot to open quicker so they also vote to end TPN reactions. I’m just disappointed in this decision.

Beastars has a fansub group so it should be fine, the editors know what to do. As for the takeaway of this situation, not matter which option wins for this poll, I think its in the best interest of this channel to no longer allow for ongoing shows to go on these polls.

I haven't read the manga and I'm really enjoying S2. They also haven't read the manga so why would they stop watching? BEASTARS S2 isn't even out in the West yet. Just let them finish the series, its only 11 eps.

They can still watch the anime in their free time. Nobody is forcing them to just drop it and never watch an episode again What we are talking about here is simply if they do reaction content to it. Most of us would rather they continue with another anime. And they left us the choice. I would have accepted it if they just continued. Thing is, the story was great! Just for some reason the author wanted the studio to skip 4 arcs and speed running straight to the finale. Maybe it was because they couldn't make a season 3 but if that was the case I would have rather them left all the anime onlies on a cliffhanger to entice them to read the rest in the manga. Shame that its still kinda having the same effect on anime onlies to read the manga, but not in the right circumstances.

I mean, if you’re not as invested in TPN as a lot of us are, I do think reacting to it knowing that the ball has been dropped is still entertaining in its own right. For a lot of us, season 2 has been this sort of stain on the brilliance that season 1 established, and more than anything i think we were trying to “shield your eyes from the horror.” It sucks having one of your favorite shows dragged through the mud. But based on the video it sounds like this show isn’t as “up there” for you guys, so perhaps that need not be as much of a concern. Just my thoughts. Although ultimately the poll will decide.

keep watching, please... I'm watching the show and I don't feel it's as bad as people make it out to be... It's just slow and different than the first season... for me it is still 7+ getting slowly better ( I'm just imagining you guys would stop AOT because the 3D animation was bad at that one point). I am at EP7 right now and I have a feeling a lot of the skipped material actually gets talked over in flashbacks. IF YOU GUYS ARE ENJOYING TPN S2 THEN KEEP WATCHING IT.

There are so many good anime this season - Beastars S2, JJK, Slime Isekai 2, ReZero 2, AoT4, and Wonder Egg Priority, just to name a few. It's a damn shame TPN had to shit the bed so badly in its storytelling, it could have been a great contender. Alas, the damage has been done, and here we are. Hope you guys enjoy Beastars S2.

I started as an anime only, but started reading when the complaints about things being skipped started to show up online and I'm SO glad I did. I binge read the manga after the 1st episode and it became one of my favorite series literally overnight. Memeing could be fun, but i feel like it would just get frustrating after a while, especially if the season is heading where i think. And s2 of Beastars means were that closer to s2 of Dr Stone, so im here for it
