I really liked the reaction though I was disappointed you guys seemed to have missed the line when Tamaki said his mother was sick as I do think that explains a lot more about Tamaki’s character and so I think they could have gone into more detail about his character if they had heard that line specifically still great reaction :).

Him being so insistent on helping these people that the rest of the club has pointed out are shady kind of proves that. The way the rest of the club is so protective of Tamaki is really sweet even with how they like to tease him you know they all care because Tamaki is such a genuine person in how he cares about others.

2021-03-26 16:44:08 +0000 UTCthis episode we basically learned that Tamaki didn't get to play with kids his age a lot when he was younger because he'd stay by his sick mother's side, so he makes up for that lost childhood element with the host club, and we learned that his father basically runs Ouran. this is really the first peak into Tamaki's life, and i'm super excited for you guys to see more :)
