2021-04-06 23:59:21 +0000 UTCOne of the interesting things I realized watching this, was that given his previous encounter. Facing Beetulgese during the chase in S1 and seeing him burn was probably rather cathartic for Otto and would help explain why he likes Subaru so much.

2021-04-06 04:10:52 +0000 UTCI'm not sure if you guys saw but this whole time in this series Emilia reflects in Subaru's eyes because that is how he feels about her and especially in this episode with all the those shots focusing on his eyes. But finally at the end we see after a long pause on Emilia we see that Emilia finally starts seeing Subaru's feelings for her as we get the first scene of Subaru reflecting in Emilia's eyes.
