The book "No Longer Human" is a modern classic of Japanese literature, great book -and a really depressive story. I recommend that everyone who are interested in reading No Longer Human would really do some research beforehand and if you are having a hard time due mental healt issues please think twice before reading the book. The story is not exactly an autobiography but it is based on Osamu Dazai's own experiences and shortcomings in life. The dark joke here in Bungo Stray Dogs with Dazai's first appearance and the real author is that after several attempts Dazai Osamu finally ended up taking his own life by drowning together with his lover ... And to leave this one on a bit more positive note, this show has a lot of fun easter eggs with the authors/ books/ character personality traits/ etc the Japanese audience enjoyed and I know you will enjoy as well. Have fun and I genuinely hope you won't get spoiled!🙏

I do want to make sure they are going to watch the OVA (episode 25 on CR) and Dead Apple. They're pretty important. And there is at least one post credit scene which is in episode 2 (can't recall off the top of my head if there are others) so the bros should be made aware of that. The reaction and discussion were really great! I love the enthusiasm! I feel like they're probably going to be disappointed with Kenji and Poe's abilities, but I think they'll like them as characters! I'm SO excited for episode 8 where they get to see Akiko, my queen, my goddess, in action! I laughed when they were predicting her ability because it's not that far off. lol Caleb predicting the Eastern vs Western authors was pretty funny so I think they're going to really enjoy the second half of season 2 with the Guild. And mentioning Dostoevsky made me laugh because he will definitely play an important role later on. This was just fantastic. I can't wait for next week!
