I don’t know if you’ve decided on the next one/or just want to watch it - but the Fruits Basket reboot is great, the multi-season format is giving them the chance to really get into the story.

2021-05-29 17:58:47 +0000 UTCYou are talking about "daisuki" and "Aishiteru". The difference is more that suki is the verb "to like", where as "ai" is the noun love. And in this context, 'ai' covers all forms of love. In contrast, there is also "koi" which is a noun more referring to passionate, romantic love. Also, don't get confused with the "dai" (it contains 'ai'), but, that is just a romanization glitch, 'dai' just means "large", has nothing to do with 'ai', and daisuki is "Big like"

I adore the anime but after reading the manga it's hard not to feel bitter about there never being a continuation to the anime

2021-05-28 16:36:21 +0000 UTCThe Ouran manga is one of my personal favorites and I would strongly recommend it. the books go far deeper than the Anime. The anime actually released in 2006 and the Manga wasn't completed until 2011. Personally, I hope Ouran gets the Fruits Basket/FMA:B treatment and they release a rebooted anime that follows the books better.

Meanwhile Tamaki indeed must almost but not quite realise so many things! This is the beauty of Ouran! *insert renge laugh on my descent unto my domain you know not of!* also Tamaki .exe indeed stopped working. It took quite a reboot.
