that day we saw the moment Yukino's mom fell in love with Hachiman (as her son in law). jokes aside, as a meta thing maybe, Hachiman is supposedly very similar to how Papanon used to be in his teens. Also, you give that woman way more shit than she deserves. By several orders of magnitude really, simply because you didn't pay attention and dismissed the story everytime it outright told you that you were wrong about her.
