Because ratings suffered in previous seasons because the hype arcs ended before the end of the season and then the last few episodes would be an exam or a wrap-up or a set-up for next season. Since people didn't like that, they rearranged this season so the hype arc would be at the very end. I think it would have worked well if they had done a better job of hiding the outcome of the next arc.

2021-07-12 20:37:54 +0000 UTCIMO this episode exhibited why the changing around of arcs was a bad idea. It really takes out tension that would otherwise be there when they finally get to the skipped arc.
