EARLY ACCESS Fruits Basket Season 1 Episode 6 Reaction

Thankfully this is a much less intense but no less enjoyable episode. It was so great to see more of the Soma family and it was insightful. At this point I already had feelings about this family but right here it started to set in how messed up this family probably is. Also more of my thoughts will have to wait for next episode but safe to say I love Hattori I can't wait for you guys to see more of him. It's really heartwarming to see the positive impact Tohru is having on Yuki & Kyo. God I love Uo and Hana so much I wish they were my friends. It's so heartwarming and wholesome to see their friendship with Tohru especially because of how clearly their love and caring shine through. Real friendship is a very pure and great thing and this just shows why. I love your analysis about these 2 characters and the discussion of the deeper parts of these characters underneath the stereotypical archetypes they were at the start of the show and it was interesting to see their insecurities but I love the counterpoints from the boys. This shows how being completely selfless might not always be good because of course complete selfishness is bad but you still need to care about yourself more than others sometimes/a lot of the time it's very similar to conversations about mental health. I think Caleb is really getting the series with some of his analysis but I love how Jacob was bouncing his thoughts off on him particularly the hat conversation and Tohru and Akito being directly set as opposites. Also one last thing I will say is the set up in this series is fantastic and so worth seeing pay off I love that you guys are getting that. I can't wait to see the next reaction and keep up the great work. :-) <3

I can kind of understand where they come from with that, orange is an unusual hair color for japanese people and even in the anime they say they get bullied for their hair colors since they're strange. I'm not sure why Kyoko has orange hair but at least Kyo only has it cause of the cat spirit

i think you guys might be confused, we already were confirmed that Tohru's dad was someone named Katsuya, and he died when Tohru was 3. in episode 5 we saw his side of the family with the grandfather, aunt, and cousins
