Ayame is probably the funniest character in the show in my opinion. I really love his flamboyant and confident personality and friendship with Shigure. And once again I really love that even though he's a very comedic character there's some deep emotional stuff going on with him. Also we have Tohru being the best again. I'm glad there was some progress between him and Yuki at the end there. Great analysis and I can't wait for the next reaction. Time for tears. :-) <3

I can't wait for next week's episode, because it answers some questions they've asked before. But it also opens up several other plots that go into deep, dark places. Watching you guys react to this story is so enjoyable for me, just because I grew up along with the manga so the honest reactions make me so happy.

Wow! I am ALWAYS shocked at how deep you two can go so quickly with the information given to you. I can't help but appreciate it! The details you two pick up on, keep in your brains, and then make sure to discuss it further - that is why I look forward to these videos each week! The speculations around Ayame and his sexuality are so great, so camp, and having the kinds of characters who are allowed to have same-sex crushes or even relatively solidified theories really means a lot in the terms of representation. Fruits Basket isn't particularly known for advanced writing on gender and sexuality speculation, BUT, these characters are funny and not meant to be laughed AT. I can respect that. Comparing Tohru to a chord that sends a sound wave out! Yes! Wow, ya'll are so good. I really think the song Fight Song by Rachel Platten is a great theme song for her.

Ayame is such a whirlwind whenever he enters the scene, hahaha. That scene where he tears his arm away from Yuki is so heart breaking :( Like, Yuki didn't know his brother as a person at that point. All he knew was that they were brothers. He reached out to him in desperation, and Aya just completely rejected and abandoned him, unaware of the damage he was doing because Yuki just meant nothing to him. UGH. Can't wait for you guys to see more Yuki backstory. I think Yuki's arc is one of my favorites in this show.
