This episode is just so much great stuff. It's a good thing there was some great comedy in the 2nd part of the episode considering the heaviness of the Momiji part. It was so great getting focus on a more comedic character like Momiji showing once again that even the more comedic characters have serious stuff going on which is something Fruits Basket is so good at. I can’t skip over how tragic and unfair the stuff going on with his family is. It’s just so sad and I thought I was prepared this time but it still had me crying thankfully not as badly as the 1st time I saw this. There's something so beautiful and powerful about the philosophy Momiji of not forgetting everything even the painful stuff believing you can overcome that and it’s amazing with how it connects to Tohru. Seeing her arrive to see her deceased mother is a great but rough moment. Also her empathy is just incredible. One thing I want to say is that it sucks that Momiji’s mother is suicidal because of the curse but even then the way she talks about her son is terrible and what his father asks is such an unfair thing to ask such a young child especially being emotionally damaging. Thank God there were so many wholesome and hilarious moments with Tohru and what is basically her sisters especially with us seeing their connection with Kyoko. I do like that there is a somber and heartfelt atmosphere to this part as well. Finally I love how more stuff is set up with Kyo in a very interesting way. Great reaction and keep up the great work. :-) <3

"Please 3/4 year old, sacrifice what you perceive to be your whole world so that mommy and I can be happy by pretending you don't even exist!...and don't you worry, mommy will be more than happy to do so, since she thinks she's the most pitiful person to EVER grace the Earth!!...". People talk about Akito a lot, but personally, to this day, those two are the only characters i hate with a passion...
