Something I did notice, was March mentioned two areas, and is the other that seems to be orchestrating this sacrifice party.... conquer by proxy?

The rope was what they boy used to keep his wolf from running away again. Also the ONLY people that have interacted with the alien being is the boy and march. Why are they seemingly so confused with this lol? No one has had any contact with him ever since he left the place where they boy originally was. No human had ever seen him or messed with him until March found him and the other couple of people saw him.

2021-10-11 00:18:53 +0000 UTCNot really sure if its worth pointing out or not since they are usually super on point with details, but the rope around his wrist was from when he transformed into the boy and the one around his neck was the one the boy had on him when he was a dog. It was interesting to hear their ideas about them being evidence of lynching though. Im so hyped for this show being added to the lineup... im super stoked to hear more discussions! You two are awesome <3

The bros always have such interesting takes on some of the more thought-provoking shows, in particular, and it's always just so cathartic to get those "yeeeeesss-- that's *exactly* how it felt" moments from reliving the major and minor emotional beats alike. That, and any excuse to rewatch a good show after skipping ahead in the manga is always nice. Aaaggghhhh... we're ALL gonna cry, though, dammit!

It's an easy shorthand for the psyche of that which is profoundly "other," and quite the apt description for how to treat the orb, as a viewer.
