I think it was an animation problem as I don’t remember it having different sizes in the manga, but thats a nice way of seeing it lol.

2021-10-18 18:46:43 +0000 UTCI think it was constantly changing scales based upon the fear and awe of the people observing it. It was an extremely large bear, so probably 10 feet tall or more, but the fear of the people made it seem even larger and that was reflected in the show.

2021-10-17 19:24:10 +0000 UTCI think the problem with the bear was just the animators having problems keeping it at the same scale in different scenes and I didn't really hold any of that against the show as a criticism. I am not an animator that possibly gets treated terribly in the animation studios and I don't have any experience on judging how hard it would be to keep it at a proper same scale in all of the different scenes.
