The ending of S1 is definitely not a link to the movie. The movie will be a prequel about the incident involving Getou, with the main character being Okkotsu, who is a character who was mentioned before (being the reason Tokyo Jujutsu High won the previous Exchange Event, as well as being acknowledged by Gojo as being one of the best Jujutsu students).
