EARLY ACCESS JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 Episode 10 Reaction

Comments

ok so i just watched the post episode discussion (originally only watched the pre-episode) and i guess i jumped the gun on thinking they'd misunderstood Formaggio's role. i now understand they were probably talking about the assassin team going up against the boss, not formaggio being the boss of the assassin team. i will say however: in my defense i watch the full length reactions, so i had to go back and forth between this video and that one. its a bit clunky, though i completely understand why it's set up like that: for people who just want to blaze through a bunch of episodes with commentary on and not have much downtime. anyways, the post ep discussion was good and they came up with a lot of creative and valid ideas for how the fight could go, even though they were mostly off the mark of what actually happens next. :p

ah, i havent listened to all of the discussion yet. just based on their first impressions during the episode it seemed like they thought he was the boss

Also Risotto is the one giving all of the orders. "take out the painting and line them up" "forget about Sorbet and Gelato" etc

Heart of Steel

You mean the thing they talked about in the discussion? Pretty sure they were talking about the guy that butchered Gelato and the other guy possibly having been the boss.

Lukas Geissler

I agree. I haven't finished Part 6 yet, but I'd potentially go as far as to say Part 5 is the best written part of the original universe. It's not my favorite part, personally. But I'd still say it's the best written of the original 6 Parts.

YEt there is so much more they can delve into. Like the resolve of formagio, the comradre between the hitman team etc. The memes are fun and all but part 5 is such a great part thematically as well.

Bronziteman

I love how their pre/post episode discussions have evolved from an actually somewhat serious attempt at an analysis into total meme-fests.

Illuso is fucking strong, tho. I'm kinda sad seeing the some-stuffs translation left out the background dialogue he had about saving his ability for big jobs, because it's so busted. Tbh Iluso is my personal least favorite, but that's not saying much in a group that's so full of entertaining villains. Formaggio is cool to me specifically because he shows to us what we're in for, if he's the type of stand user his group looks down on. he does an excellent job of building them all up.

Considering next to Illuso? Man in the Mirror guy, he is the most forgettable member of the group

Hobbes

"Oh, hey! Check it out, it's the leader of The Sinister Six: Shocker!"

Derrick C. Shields

i am slightly confused as to why they think the leader of the hitman team is the one that is constantly being belittled by his fellow members and is clearly going to be defeated next episode, but whatever. He definitely gives that impression at first, but as soon as I saw risotto it was clear to me.
