zenitsu didn't purge the poison because he didn't manifest 'lightning', neither did the other breath users (it's just a visual representation of their sword forms. (no elements)

It seems... disingenuous? I left a comment like this and I'm sure everyone thinks we're being uptight party-poopers, but I don't think it's asking too much for them to meet the show on its level, rather than constantly being flippant about it.
