I loved the discussion this episode! You both hit the nail on the head a little and it's one of my favourite aspects of the show. Humans don't just turn into demons and automatically become evil. They're given a binding that causes them to eventually lose their humanity over time. That's why seeing all the demons' backstories is so intriguing.
