2020-07-19 20:49:27 +0000 UTCWhen you talked about the animation cels and how insanely challenging that can be vs digital, I am reminded of a cel that I received a while back. I found out after watching the episode that HALF of the drawing was covered up by foreground curtains. The animator spent so long on such amazing work that no one would have seen.

2020-07-19 20:10:21 +0000 UTCThings I love about this show that aren't always obvious at first glance! -The teachers lounge is in an old swimming pool, since the whole school is a hodgepodge of old buildings -Asakusa's camo hat and backpack are fully animated, which would probably be an absolute nightmare
