How I interpreted that scene with Nagisa at the end is that with his classmates' and friends' lives on the line, he felt that it doesn't matter what happens to him as long as the cure gets to them - whether it's being beaten, or utterly humiliated, he thought that as long as he didn't trigger the situation and comply that the antidote would be passed on. Looking forward to your guys' reaction to the season finale!!
