Im predicting that the way they save penny is by cutting her "strings". Considering she is being hacked through her weapons she would probably gain control of herself and become a real girl like in the source material.

2020-12-06 17:58:09 +0000 UTCJust to let you guys know Volume 8 will be going on a break after Chapter 7 (December 19) and will return on February 6th. They mentioned on the blog post that working remotely has slowed down the process thus the break ensures that they have a healthy production without rushing things. They will still be working on it during the break of course but it will allow for a more comfortable finish for the back half of the volume.
