Maybe it's just me, but I feel the bros glorify Kircheis way too much. Kircheis is good, but he is not god. He may not be able to solve every problem. He may not have the perfect solution to everything. What Kircheis is to Reinhard is a soulmate. Someone to share glory and sorrow with. Someone to have personal dialogue with. Someone who truly understands Reinhard inside out. These are the shoes that nobody on Reinhard's staff can fill. But is Kircheis a better military commander than Mittermeyer and Reuenthal? Don't think so. Can Kircheis advise or administer better than Oberstein? Doubt it. Does Kircheis have better foresight than Hilda? Hard to top her. Would Reinhard defeat Yang if Kircheis is still alive? Debatable. If Kircheis is still alive, some events may turn out better. But Reinhard still won't be able to get where he is today without the help of his staff. My perception that the bros see Kircheis as a wonder boy that is better than all of the above does not sound right.
