During your reaction, you mention that we are not worthy of such quality animation. This is one of the reasons why the fire was so tragic. It was tragic in it's own right, but more so because of how amazing the people at KyoAni are.

2021-02-11 12:04:52 +0000 UTCGod, as someone who has been on a stage so many times (albeit dancing and not playing and instrument), they've nailed this episode on so many levels: - That uneasiness before the performance, in a room completely secluded from the rest of the world - The POV, completely in the dark, from behind the curtains, just before the beginning. Watching all of the people on their seats, completely silent and waiting for the next act - The realisation that, all of the work put during several months, concludes in that very moment - The moment the performance ends, when you just stand there, dumbfounded, listening to the ovation, you can't even think, you're just confused and thinking "Is it over already?! it's just been a moment!!" - The absolute dread when waiting for the results. "How did we do? Bronze? Silver? Gold? Maybe we didn't even get bronze" The only thing I missed was the calmness just after playing your piece, where you can just relax and wait for the outcome, maybe even chill watching/listening to the rest of the groups. Nonetheless, this was, to me at least, a perfect representation of how it feels to be on a stage, and brought so many happy memories. Absolutely wonderful
