Had Jotaro not killed him Pucci probably would’ve taken it as a disc and then put it in someone else and destroyed it there. That way Dio could’ve lived to wield MiH himself. But it works either way for the end goal.

2022-11-06 12:15:02 +0000 UTCKeep in mind for the discussion about countering mui mui's memory ability is that "I Can't Retain more than 3 memories" itself would have to be one of your memories before you could even begin to create your own loop. It would also need to always be one of the 3 leaving you with 2 real memories to use. All this to say it's even worse and scarier than if she didn't also have to use up a slot on that.

During the introduction to stands as a concept, Star Platinum saving Jotaro from a bullet even though he isn't actively controlling it is a pretty big hint. Then, during Iggy's death scene, it almost outright says it. After grabbing Polnareff with The Fool, the narrator says his soul had no choice but to move and save Polnareff.

2022-11-05 19:41:22 +0000 UTCif i remember correctly, for stand users, a stand disc and a memory disc make up a soul. and if you remember in part 5 when black sabbath grabs giornos soul, his stand pops out, alluding to stands being souls. they're soul extensions/evolution you could say. it's also why those ghost in part 4 were able to grab koichis/kiras stands. stands are ones personal being spiritually represented. also, in regards to the dio thing, that was dio writing in his diary, he hadn't destroyed his stand, he wasn't able to achieve his heaven plan because the jostars got in the way. he mentioned needing a friend because he hadn't met pucci yet. puccis is taking up the heaven torch that dio wasn't able to. .
