You could say he’s a fanatic idealist coz he literally means what he says. So if his people ever decide to betray those ideals, he’s definitely backing that claim. It goes back to what he said in the first episode when Theo was suggesting to kill them. If humanity can’t survive except by killing children they think is ‘strange’, humanity would be better off dead.
