I feel its harder to suppress demon energy and demonic tendencies the closer you are to demon world. Kurama's been trying to get energy to change back, but other priorities came up. In the process though, he has that power now to change back. But Kurama's mind has always been his strongest power. It'll be the deciding factor.

Reminder the class system from spirit world is flawed. It's mainly to classify a group of people considered enemies they care to know little of. Also, no one in the spirit world is above A class, which is a wide range. S Class basically just means "we can't beat them."
It's why the Demons use numbers for individuals and not classes mainly. Because the classes are in magnitudes between them.
Think of the classes more like A-, A, and A+ as an example for A Class. With their still being a range within those.
So the 3 kings would be an S+ which probably less than what you can count on your hands have achieved that level in demon wold and we know only 3. While S- or S would be there second in commands they had (which shows the gap that their second in commands are that weak to them yet technically in the same class.)
A good example here would be Sachi and Sensui are both S- class while Kurama is A when not suppressing like he did here for the scanner, but Yoko Kurama at this point is more like a base S class which base S isint nearly as uncommon since we know Mukuro has multiple S class soldiers that ran from S- to S. Shigure was one, for example. What Kurama brought Yomi here was basically 6 warriors who were at Sachi's (his old second in commands) level or better. Meanwhile, Sachi's Army of A class demons mean nothing since to a S class they are fodder. We even see this when Mukoro sacrificed hundreds of A class demons easily.

All six of them are A class demons. I think power levels over 100,000 was a class with power leveled over a million being S class
