Why do you suppose they are in their right mind just because it's on the internet? 😆 A lifetime of being Hungarian tells me otherwise + if you put cold sour cream into something hot, the sour creams breaks apart into small lumps of disgustingness (https://cookpad.com/hu/receptek/12116164-gulyasleves-glutenmentes-csipetkevel-es-tejfollel), that's why you add hot liquid to cold sour cream little by little in a separate bowl, stir thoroughly to get an even consistency, and then you add it to the dish.... but what do I know? I just do it several times every week (other Hungarian dishes with sour cream, not goulash). You can google banana with mayo on the internet and you'll get hits, because there are people who actually eat that, which is perfectly fine, but probably not very representative of people's tastes in a whole region with traditional cuisine.

Probably the weakest episode of the season, alot of the latter half of season 1 is kinda ehh tbh the first couple of episodes and the last couple of episodes are the best parts

There’s this really cool Youtuber, Binging with Babbish, who recreates food from movies and TV and he did a video recreating Yor’s stew! He guessed it’s probably Goulash which made me so happy because I grew up eating that since my dad’s side of the family is from Hungary. I can confirm, it’s a very heartwarming stew!🥰💕
