the black n white as well as the author's artstyle definitely helps create a beautiful nightmare scape that the clean shapes and colors of the anime sort of dispel

I even think he knew that Prushka was destined to be Rikos white whistle which was needed to fulfill everyones wishes. Riko wanted to go further and neede a white whistle. Bondrew wanted evolution or further development in his research. Prushka wanted to go on a journey and find friends. Reg wanted to learn about himself.

The real question is, how bad is Riko gonna get it when it's her turn? The next arc hasn't really gotten underway in the manga yet, but man, somehow it's only gotten darker and more beautiful. More blessings and curses all around.
