The rule of debt goes like this: All debts outside will be cleared once you join the game, but the money loaned at the beginning of game + the interest will possibly be your new debt if you cannot make that much money at the end of game. Three stars only guarantee your survival, but to clear the new debt you have to make more stars and money, otherwise your life won't be better than before joining the game.
2023-03-10 14:10:33 +0000 UTCThey don't seem to get the concept of the game, and how you can get rid of debt/earn money, despite it already being explained. I'm worried they will be lost if the show doesn't re-explain. Since this has already been explained, could someone tell them?

2023-03-09 04:56:36 +0000 UTCsomeone really needs to tell them that "once you clear the games, the organizers will clear off all your previous debts" then, depending on what happens to the amount you loaned at the start of the games (in Kaiji's case, 10mil), the money you end the games with will be what you earn/owe example - if Kaiji doubles his money, he is up 20mil minus 10mil+interest returned to the organization at the end of the game. If Kaiji loses all his money, he no longer owes his previous debt, but now has a new debt of 10mil+interest
