She's a half. And in Japan, discrimination against that is very common to halves when they grow up in Japan. Edit: For the boss, his hair is clearly dyed aesthetically speaking.

Summertime Render on the other hand was a great anime definitely worth rewatching and I'm really looking forward to their reactions and discussions of it.
