Now here is the thing : Under no circumstances can some of the actions of Rudy be acceptable BUT Taking everything into consideration , his life up until that point , the way he's been treated both by people around him and his own mind being alone in his room for 20 years etc. you can at least get where all these character traits are coming from... and even if they can't get to that conclusion , i do hope that at least they'll learn to ignore it ... now I know that ignoring problems are not the best , but it's an anime .. and more importantly a reaction to said anime , so getting hung up on Rudy's actions , having those be the topic and stuff like that will ruin the reaction as a whole ... I've seen many reactors ruining the experience because even in S2 the whole video was trashing Rudy and talking about him and not a discussion about what happened in the ep. ... IDK man , to me acting like this is your first anime and getting offended and shit , as if you haven't seen degenerate stuff like this before is more cringe/annoying than Rudy .... reactors like that should either drop the show or just learn to ignore it

The things about this story that people fight over are part of what make it good. Character growth is a main theme, but the growth will be too gradual for people uncomfortable with the characters flaws.
