Again with the kids can't just forget things, because they are kids, lol. They made the same assumption back in the monogatari series. They always have to assume there is some reason why they forget something, either trauma, or some memory wipe.

Y’all wondered at one point about if those moments of visual gushing over Tohru via Kyo’s POV is a directing choice or if it was adapted from the source material and I will say - when Tohru is the center of affection for any of these characters, the details are so heavenly. You see so many beautiful sides of Tohru in the manga because the style of art at that point was visually wonderful.

What I love about Kyo and his relationship with Tohru is ,out of all the Soma’s, he always notices when she is not doing okay. Not only that, Kyo reaches out to her and finds ways for her to open up (which she even resist Uo-chan and Hana-chan from doing). None of the others are doing that, not Yuki or Momiji even. I love that Kyo is allowing her to be close but is trying to do the same thing for her as well and not letting her avoid her own issues🥰. The next few episodes are gunna be hell on our emotions and triggering for some. Please have whatever mental health support you have close by. Im expecting Caleb will have an extremely hard time, please take care of yourselves. 🙏🏻
