Ryou is actually the class president of Tomoya's class. Kyou is the president of a different class. Kyou and Ryou are twins and so, naturally, in the same year at school. If anything, Kyou has more of an issue going into his class than Ryou does. Kyou is often referred to as the 'older' sister more for her personality than any real age difference, although she is also older by a few minutes chronologically.

2022-05-03 03:06:34 +0000 UTCIn the VN you can choose most other characters as your teammates for the 3v3 basketball match; I'll leave it to your imaginations what the results would be like with all the possible team-ups. Speaking of the VN... I can't help but notice that the adaptation syndrome was stronger than ever in this episode. It's rough; this season is important to build connections with all the different characters for (hopefully) satisfying payoffs in After Story, but KyoAni can only do so much with compressing several parallel arcs/routes into one linear story.
