The problem is that in the comics, she was a stereotypical airheaded girl who had no clue about Mark's secret identity, thought Mark was a drug dealer because of his weird behavior, and when she found out Mark was Invincible, was immediately like "Oh, you're a superhero! That's so cool! Of course I forgive you!" Which has its own host of problems. They changed it so that she saw the obvious signs and caught on, but wrote themselves into a corner or forgot to change the rest of the story to fit the new characterization.

2022-05-17 11:43:04 +0000 UTCAmber being soooooo unreasonable. But the fact that Nolan didn't even lift a finger against his wife speaks volumes. If he were really fucked up and/or evil, he would've killed her then and there for talking to him like that (and for knowing too much). First off, she had huuuuuge balls for scolding him like that, props to her. Second, he took all that verbal abuse and the worst he did in reaction was punch a hole in the wall, after she had gone upstairs.
