one of my favorite things about the anime and manga is that we get real time to resolve everything and conclude the story. its not just the climax and then a single episode to tie it all up.

In episode 8 kyo says he always runs away from his problems too so him running after her like that was such a nice character development like he is not giving up anymore he will go after what he wants and deserves!!

I love and will always love the scene where kyo is going over it all in his head almost trying to talk himself out of his love with all those silly questions and then the second he sees her the simple powerful truth overpowers him. “None of that matters, I love her”

I'm glad Jacob remembered the episode 1 line from Tohru. It was always obvious that kyo was the main ship. From a meta perspective there is no reason to have the dramatic extra zodiac member unless he's the main love interest. Yuki shippers always huffing mad copium throughout the show to ignore this.

So there is a small but VERY IMPORTANT detail from the manga the anime left out. After Kyo left his father's house, when Kisa and Hiro find him he is throwing up. THAT is how stressful that encounter with his father was😭

I love how in the end Kyo really did beat Yuki (not through fists, but through emotional honesty), thus winning his bet with Akito.

I've never enjoyed the Uotani/Kureno ship (age difference aside, they just haven't spent a lot of time together), BUT I love Uotani hugging Akito. She knows what it's like to have hurt people, physically and emotionally, so it makes sense to me that she would be able to empathize with Akito, and it's a small character moment that I really like.
