To be fair, we saw the Legion use anti-tank missiles in an earlier episode so it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to guess that the Legion shot down the helicopter with an anti-air missile, or (if the opportunity presented itself) an anti-tank missile.

2022-08-31 22:03:05 +0000 UTCAs Jerome states outright in the episode, Lena's father subconsciously believed nothing would happen when visiting the front because "only 86 die" there. To paraphrase the Joker from TDK, 86 dying is all part of the plan. Actual people (the Alba) don't get killed in this war. That's not what is supposed to happen.
