2024-04-05 06:24:06 +0000 UTCI think I finally get why their reactions to Frieren have been so unsatisfying to watch...their response to what are supposed to be emotional beats are way to flippant. When I watch this show, I see a character get harmed and I feel sad or hurt, but they're more interested in the craft of the storytelling than any of the actual characters, so I don't feel like they're having the same kind of experience as me. It's like they're not even having the same conversation as me. Am I making sense?
