2024-04-23 09:35:09 +0000 UTCi gave up reading one piece around sanji's backstory and didn't follow it at all but I did a watching party with a friend who is op fan and friend who doesnt know shit like me and I had such a good time !!!!!! its nice and new-to-the-series friendly. I still won't read OP soon but I will watch SS2 as soon as it comes out!!!

Shortly after production staff announced that S2 scripts had been written before the strikes (I assume early drafts but idk for sure maybe Oda insisted they plan ahead for appropriate seeding of lore) One Piece LA S2 was confirmed in September 2023. Production is slated to start June 2024. Also I'm so glad that despite not having spent a lot of time with the anime you lasered in on Binks No Sake playing in the background at Party's Bar.
